Gros Morne National Park
Gros Morne National Park is a world heritage site located on the west coast of Newfoundland. At 1,805 km2 (697 sq mi), it is the second largest national park in Atlantic Canada (surpassed by Torngat Mountains National Park at 9,600 km2/3,700 sq mi). It is a must see on any trip to Newfoundland and Labrador.
 
Marble Mountain Ski Resort
The summit of Marble Mountain is 1,700 feet above the Humber River, which cuts a winding path through the majestic Humber Valley to the Bay of Islands on Newfoundland's west coast. Marble Mountain has 37 runs and its terrain includes a newly developed terrain park, seven mogul runs and two glade runs. There's something for people of all skiing and snowboarding abilities. Novice skiers enjoy the gentle slope of Country Road and experts love the exhilaration they feel when they reach the bottom of the OMJ.All terrain is open to snowboarders, including the bigger, better terrain park and the snocross park.
 
Snowmobiling - (Newfoundland Snowmobile Federation)
The NLSF is the provincial governing body of 16 volunteer snowmobile clubs across the Island portion of the province, extending from Robinsons to St. Anthony and as far East as St. John's.  The Labrador portion of the province has it's own trail network with it's own governing body.
 
Marble Zip Tours

The Town of Deer Lake, with a population of approximately 5000, has a rich heritage and you can explore it by visiting our local heritage museum. The Town overlooks a beautiful lake and Deer Lake is developing into a bustling service centre.
 
Newfoundland Insectarium
The Newfoundland Insectarium is a museum of nature featuring insects and arthropods from around the world. It houses thousands of live and mounted specimens including a butterfly garden, glass beehive, and ant colony. It is located in Reidville, Newfoundland.
